Title: Dazz & Trish Road Trip Part 4 (Some Scenic & Historic Stuff)
Post by: Dazzler on April 10, 2012, 13:15:43
Firstly some Scenery and an Old Gaol that Nic & Wendy (Opa_1) showed us near their place (South West Rocks - New South Wales) Bit of a dumb name for a place that is situated in the North East of the State

Think this one was taken in Tamworth NSW..

Glen Innes Town Hall  I think...(nice building)

Had a tasty seafood lunch at a tiny little cafe with a snobby name "Cafe on Sheridan" in Gundagai on Good Friday (Yellow awning in this photo)

A vey old timber bridge in Gundagai (NSW)

Trish took a lot of pix including these two of an old Train Station (getting ideas for her model train layout)

This was a lovely old town called Chiltern in Victoria (most old Tassie Buildings are Sandstone)

The MGs in this photo ended up on the Spirit of Tasmania coming down for a tour of our state  :D

Still more to come (maybe tomorrow night) :goodjob:

Great pics.  Keep them coming.

Why is it that other places look so inviting when you compare to your own area?

Brilliant pics.

That Chiltern town looks like something from the Wild West, except for the red telephone box :D

That old Gundagai wood bridge would have been under water a few weeks ago.
That whole flat area just backs up from the Murrumbidgee River.

Mainland is quite interesting. Modern way of living, with a bit of a tropical island, a bit of a jungle, a bit of (as said) wild-west, a bit of victorian era... Hard to get bored at a place like this

I never thought of it like that  :D ....and due to a tight schedule we only scratched the surface ...
