Welcome from the West Island Kraemer.
Great choice of car you've made there and, if I may say so, a great choice of company you've decided to keep.

Welcome Kraemer,

Please tell us more. Has NZ got the new shape? I'm assuming Elite is the midrange model?

If it is the new shape what size engine please  :D

New Zealand does not have the new shape yet, which i personally not like at all (personal preference)
The i30 comes in 2 Models in New Zealand, as Hatchback and Wagon with 3 different engines (1.6 Diesel, 1.6 Petrol and 2.0 Petrol engine as either Standard or Elite Model.
Mine is a 2.0 litre Petrol Elite (The Elite Model has leather interior, Pollen Filter Climate Control, 17' Wheels and a few other extras compared to the standard Model)

So far so good  :D

Welcome :)

I find it interesting that countries are given such varying specs for the i30.

Welcome to the club :goodjob:
Its a beautiful park of the world you hail from. I went to Lake Taupo back in 2001 and it was stunning.

Thanks, very interesting.. Most of our newer models of Hyundai come in 3 levels Active, Elite and Premium (with the premium getting the Leather/Sunroof etc..)

 Very good Phil I asked for that  :-[
