How do I change a blown brake light bulb in a 2009.5 CW model?
The owner manual seems to miss out some steps because removing the mounting screws isn't enough to release the light cluster out far enough to get to the bulb fittings behind.
This comes after being defeated in attempts to change blown bulbs at the front. The dealer told me they release the front bumper to get the cluster out.

and you really don't have to lower the front bumper to get the headlights out either... :whistler:

just a little warning about the tail lights once they re out. don't let the tail light Assembly hang by the wires,it WILL scratch your paint on the bumper . :winker: put a rag/cloth under it.

Well I managed to change my brake light today and was brave when pulling the section out infact I did it twice !!!
However I did nick a little bit of paint off the bottom part but had a touch up brush to cover it up OPPS. Should have used a rag to place under the pulled out section will know for future reference :goodjob2:
