Title: Head Up Display for i30 and Nokia users
Post by: babis_xo on April 30, 2012, 21:45:24
It's fun and is free to download and use. Just use the internal GPS (disable the A-GPS feature)
It works on my Nokia 500 Belle - It's not working on wife's C5-03
The i30 is perfect for placing the phone to the desired spot alongside the windshield
The only letdown is that speed is shown by a step of 4km/h (0, 4, 8 etc)

Here is a bad quality pic (sorry)

and a crappy-little video (sorry again)

That is nifty Babis (don't suppose it would work on my HTC Wildfire or Sony Ericsen Cedar though)  :undecided:

It was such a happy day when I got rid of my last Nokia.

I can see why the company is not doing well....

Probably not. It's a ".sis" application :disapp:

I'm used to them :whistler:
You may find it hard to replace once used to them, as many other things in our life

Torque Light, the Android version, has HUD as well. The G sensor works off the phone's sensor, so I am guessing the phone GPS would run the speed dial without the OBDII transmitter connected. It certainly has the add on dial for GPS speed. Have to try it to confirm.
