Title: 7 year (87,500) mile
Post by: Shambles on May 03, 2012, 07:45:44
Just about to get off my ass and drag Fergie kicking and screaming for a premature 7 year service.

Decided to use the dealership (2 miles away) that always leaves me feeling sad, as there's usually something wrong with her when I pick her up.

£133.00 (AUD$209) (EUR€164.00)

NOTE That I asked them to change the fuel filter too as that was not done on my previous service.

More to come. Later.

I hope it all goes well.
Have you suffered from this premature issue for long  :whistler:

The bastards promised me a new i30 as a loaner but had to withdraw the offer as both company i30s are due out for test drives this morning.

In fact I think I woke them up when I got there

Has Fergie got the seven year itch, Shambles?

If she does, I bet the dealer will give her a good service.

Opening post updated to include the invoice :D

The receptionist quoted me £133.00 when I booked in a few weeks ago. I asked them to include a change of fuel filter which they did, but they somehow managed to keep the quote the same. Got to be happy with that :happydance:

Probably thought they had charged you for it at the last service

I reckon they made an honest mistake and forgot to include it on the bill - why not phone and ask them. You would feel much better for it. ..... :whistler:

But it is on the bill

I guess they adjusted the overall total (via labour charges?) to compensate, and ensure I was only charged £133.

They've redeemed themselves (a bit) for previous indiscretions, and it kinda makes up for the i10 I was loaned
