Post by: Ugly Mongrel on May 13, 2012, 11:17:24
HOS me I'd you want, but I've searched both "Mothers Day" and "Mother's Day" and could not find an earlier post.

So to all those Mums out there, Happy Mothers Day. :goodjob2:

No, it's like the time/date. They're actually behind.
We have ours now and they have their catch up one next March.  ;)

Thanks UM and Alan. My daughter came up and then came with me to see my mum. The husband, son, daughter and I went to a nice pub here for dinner.

Happy Mothers Day to any other mothers on here.  :D

All that aside, Happy Mothers' Day to all.
We spent a great day in the Brisbane bayside with 2 of the three offspring (plus one future daughter in law). #1 is in Canada.
My wife grew up at Bulimba and spent most of her weekends down bayside on one of the two boats her father built. So it was a bit of a trip down memory lane for her. We parked near the Manly wading pool (along with several thousand others and had an early lunh from one of the local takewaways. Then walked south to the RQYS and back.
Lucky we had an early lunch. At 2pm we stopped back in the original shop for ice cream and the wait for meals was 20-25 minutes.
Great day and one my wife enjoyed immensely.

I caught up with my mum (& dad) on Saturday instead of Sunday for Mothers' Day and yesterday, I was all by my lonesome because the other half went to the footy with my youngest daughter so I stayed home and played with my cars. I hate football with a passion.
