They have to be side airbag friendly in the SLX and SR (as the airbags are in the seat)

Being a cheapskate I just unstitched the sheepskin fronts of some existing seat covers I had and use them as facings (very comfy)  :P

I ordered the seat covers with my SLX CRDi and twas told at delivery they cannot fit the seat covers because of the airbags... pretty poor considering I ordered the genuine deal...

well i thought the stock seats are ok just after sitting in them for 4 hours or longer in the bush in summer they make my back perspire, i've used custom made sheepskin seats in past and found them to be good, the throw over one's seem to get out of place everytime i get out of the car. the top quality Virginal ;)  one less won't matter. my Babe and i are planning a long trip next year, we were going to catch the Indian pacific, then the Ghan as early this year we went on Indian Pacific Gold Kangaroo Class and it was fantastic we both loved it. but a friend in Emerald VIC is having a 50th BD wants us down there and a few other friend in out of the way places have been after me to come out visit so need more flexible transport. i have not got airbags in my seats so no worries. if we die i just hope you all put up RIP Lakes

How do you know when a Kiwi has been in your fridge???
..............................................................................
All your Lamb Chops have love bites on them and all your beer is gone :D  cheers

I have to tell you guys, from a pom's perspective... all this talk about sheepskin seat covers is rather alien to us. We ditched sheepskin at the end of the flower power era  :D

Dazz, if the sheep they have are anything like the sheep in USA, you would not want a dead one on your seat eather  they don't like eating lamb in USA eather, but there sheep look like skinny goats.
anyway i saw a guy in Syd close to CBD and he will make a set on the car prob next week, looks like first class workmanship he does too , lines the back as well.
Shambles m8, if you drive all day in our summer, you would understand why we need things different. i can drive all day no problem with my aussie built ute no seat cover, but drive four hours in the i30 and what ever they use to cover the seats makes my back perspire.

Lakes mate, I do understand. It's a different culture up here. We stop doing things when they look daft, like lining our seats with animal fur. Anyone here seen with a setup like you lot have, will get called a "chav"

You don't need custom made.  I bought a universal pair from my auto spares shop, that have cutouts down the side of the backrest area, to allow the airbags todeploy.  Also caps for the headrests
Absolutely wonderfull and in a smokey grey color!

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=chav (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=chav)

I think its similar to what we call homies or homeboys.  Baseball caps and pants around their arses with boxer shorts poking out, trying to pinch anything thats not bolted down.
