Title: Ruby goes on a short holiday.
Post by: Phil №❶ on July 20, 2012, 10:34:07
Today, Ruby has entered Victoria on a 400k trip from home. We topped up to the brim with fuel, reset the trip computer and after an uneventful trip with an elevation decrease of about 200metres, speed 100 kmh (Victorian speed limit), what is the instantaneous fuel reading   4.9 l/100k.

Doing some short driving tomorrow up into the Grampians which will no doubt alter the fuel economy significantly.

I can't speak highly enough of the diesel motor, never missed a beat and cruised effortlessly.  :happydance:
