Ruby is home after her shorty holiday.
Another pleasurable ride, home safe and sound.
Refuelled at 130 ks early as the fuel price was 10 c/l cheaper than any other station we'd seen. Indicated economy was 4.9 where it had stayed through the whole trip.
This is the fuel docket info though
Total $61.87
Cost / lt $1.374
Distance 792.5 k's
Which works out @ 5.682 l/100k's. Strangely enough, the 4.9 was achieved quite early after brimming on the outward journey and hardly moved, except for hill climbing yesterday, as previously reported.
Today after refuelling, we had 90k's of level ground and the indicated fuel economy showed 5.5 which seems close to actual. Wonder why the outward journey is incorrect. Naturally, that stuffed with the DTE figure too. :Dunno:

Phil,
In my letter box today is a Target catalogue. Is there a Target near you?
On page 13 they have a "Bellini" capsule machine PLUS 2 boxes of capsules for $89.
It's on special from $129, plus the capsules are normally $6.50 for a box of 10.
Definitely worth a look.

I noticed the other day that you can also get Hot Chocloate capsules from Aldi and they also feature in the Target offerings.
-
I saw those, all the different strengths, numbered. They had the milk frother too. :D What strength would be similar to cafe style
-
I think you'd have to try a couple to get some idea. I tend to go for something from 6 up. But I bought a 3 when I first got the machine. It was quite drinkable. You can vary the strength of what you get into your cup by changing a setting on the machine (at least on the Aldi one - I would guess the Target one would be similar.

just checked the fuel economy & it's how many coffee's you can get to a tank?
