Today was the inaugural meeting of the UK north west chapter.
This was a last minute arrangement as Asa was visiting the Wirral and only let me know this morning. As I was free around the time Asa was going home and he was only 10 miles away a meeting was arranged.
We passed the 30 odd minutes in deep conversation of the differences between the Mk1 and Mk2 models.
In the end I think Asa will be seriously considering an upgrade looking at the "extra" on my Active.
Asa's on the left. I'm on the right.

That really is a splendid photo :goodjob:
Ruined only by the presence of two middle-aged gentlemen :happydance:
(PS, I prefer the red one :P)

Easy. Because they're different cars :P :P
(oh, and Asa's has an optional GB identity mark)

In the UK Micha, each car has a different registration number as I'm sure is the case in Russia. You might see cars with a single digit difference but these will be registered in the same part of the UK... these 2 cars are registered in entirely different areas.

yes, sure the plates in Russia vary with digits and letters too (they also vary with region number, for example: the cars registered in Saint-Petersburg are identified by 78, 98, 178), but those plates from the photo do have one thing, that differ them - blue strip

On no.... Lester didn't check to see if I had breathed in... So obvioulsy this photo makes me appear FAT
It was really great to meet up Lester, shame I still had worked rumbling round in my head... Next time we'll do coffee and drag Steve down from Blackpool. Oh hang on, I am working in Blackpool tomorrow HAhahahhaahahaaaa
Lesters car is a proper nice car and filled with toys which made my mouth water... I will be able to buy one, but, it will require my two daughters to be sold into white slavery

On the red car, Asa has an opional GB symbol which was included when the number plates were made.
If he was to take his car to mainland Europe he is compliant (I think?).
Whereas, if I were to take my car then I'd have to ensure I get GB stickers put on the car.
