the cheapest region to fill up in was Grampian in Scotland with an average petrol price of 129.7 pence a litre.
Outside of Scotland, Denbighshire in Wales has the cheapest price per litre of 130.9p.
Regionally, north-west England was cheapest at an average of 131.9 pence per litre of premium unleaded fuel.
I presume similar variances are present where you live
-
Even within "little" old Tassie the price can vary by 10c or more between one part and another ...
-
Both petrol and diesel are sitting at $149.9 cpl here...... :Pout:
-
Brixton Street in Kenwick is pretty cheap because it's a long street and lots of people park their cars on the road side and don't have lockable fuel caps.
So it makes it pretty cheap fuel if you don't get caught.
Can end up with burnt lips though. :(

 I paid £1.479 last week. It was shell v power to give it a go, but ordinary shell was £1.43 i think :'(

V Power diesel? is I think just over 141 ppl around here.
Ordinary diesel 139.9ppl
unleaded 135.9 ppl

How recent was that? That was also from an area with prices a couple of pence cheaper than I can get at home as well. I'd hate to see the shell prices round here if they had a garage nearby.

This morning I went past the local Shell and
unleaded was 135.9 ppl and
ordinary diesel was 139.9 ppl

Ouch... That really is painful to hear. I can't even get supermarket diesel for that. At least not without driving far enough to negate the savings.

Yeah, I use petrolprices.com and have whatgas petrol prices android app. This is what I get in petrolprices.com http://www.petrolprices.com/members-search.html?fueltype=6&range=5&search=B61 (http://www.petrolprices.com/members-search.html?fueltype=6&range=5&search=B61). It may be so expensive because I live a mile or so away from where the M5 and M42 join, so there's a little of the motorway service station effect on prices. but all the same you'd expect great motorway links to help bring the prices down.
