Title: How to turn off automatic climate control

Help Please, on my new i30Crdi every time I turn on the heater cooler fan the climate control comes on !!! I know it can be turned off so that you have to manually turn it on but how???

It's in the handbook too. I turned ours off as well, don't like the A/C on unless I want it on.  :neutral:

For the FD model in the manual Section 4-84

This refers to the auto A/C for window defogging bit I'm pretty sure this cancels the A/C for other functions. Ours only comes on if I select it.

Switch Ign to on
Press Screen defrost button
Press Air Recirc button 5 times in 3 seconds
That should do it.

1. Go to the rear of vehicle.
2. Disconnect all the batteries.
