Title: Paint Quality (Silver)

My car has only done 10,000 km (only 3 months old), has been garaged, but is already displaying paint discolouration on the right hand side of the rear hatch below the window.

Has this happened to others?
What is the detail of the warranty regarding paintwork in Australia?

Will try to get a photo up.

Maybe the Sun is harsh at Buderim maybe?

I'd let the dealership take a look if you're worried.

I have not had any issues with the paint on mine.
Good luck trying to claim it on warranty. Unless its something picked up when your car is delievered, it can be very hard to prove that the paint is faulty. :evil:
Did you get paint protection? Although there has been some debate on this site about the effectiveness (or lack there of) of these products, the benefit can be in a situation like this one. The dealers usually put a lifetime warranty on the paint protection products so it may be that they will cough up and respray the effected area.
