Title: DRL at 50% of light

I've got an i30cw GD.

when i turn on my lights, the DRL turn off... There's a chance to keep them lighting (better if they are at 50% of luminosity)

Indeed that is how I have configured my own DRL's to function.

I am uncertain if that function can be changed without wiring changes.

Ffoxy is right. Thr DRL must go off when headlights are turned on. However, that wouldn't stop you, I guess. :P

I think it is happening inside the light switch, so you wiil propably need to make some wiring changes that includes a resistor to make it only give 50% light.

Here in Spain, Citroen, Audi, vw... works like that. But Hyundai no... :(

Hmm, Maybe I need to update my knowledge about this.

It's 5 years since I stopped working at a dealer, back then it sure was the law here in DK that the DRL's must go of when headlights are turned on. Thought that would also be an EU law, but apparently not.

That would make sense.

I saw a Mercedes today with DRL's on, at the same time as headlights, but if they were 100 or 50 % I don't know..
