Break out those Christmas weary wallets and credit cards and unload.....

Can I just check, would the 5w-30 be fine for Sydney climate. And do you think dealer would have an issue with me supplying my own oil?

A lot of people use this oil in their I30s. It fits the specs for the diesel (I'm not sure about the petrol, but as always double check to ensure that the oils specs haven't changed).

The dealer shouldn't have a problem with you supplying your own oil. Ring them to get a quote for your next service if you provide your own oil. Most just take off $80-100.
