Title: what is a Bros BF Gauge Face
Post by: snakoil on January 16, 2013, 19:34:11: Just saw this on kspec and trying the see what is the difference with my oem cluster

aside from lighting white instead of blue like the rest of the interior, what is it doing?

Apart from that, nothing, it is ONLY the gauge face, so lighting and instruments are yours already, can't see that it could do anything else. Not worth the doh IMO.

I still can't get used to the alternating font size used for the speedo and not a fan of the blue backlight either. If pulling the cluster out to do that sort of work it would be nice to have the instruments permanently lit as well.

You've probably seen this, but this is the fix for instrument lights on & you don't have to mess with the instrument cluster.

Nope, got it here ready to fit... have had for some time actually. :-[ It just moved up the list. :cool:
