congrats :D

Happy motoring, at last.

Isn't it amazing how life pans out on this forum....
Camerooney loses his i30, cmonkey replaces it.

Great News Cmonkey (a silver SR Manual would be my dream vehicle .. if it had the diesel motor)
-
congrats on that...

That's awesome....sounds alot like mine!
Question....was your driver's side mat slippery for a week or so?
I also have bonnet and headlight protectors....difficult to wash and dry behind them! Hehehe.
Wish we had gotten tinting done....very glary without especially after having had a car with tinting! Ah well, will look into that.
Looking forward to pics!
Woohoo! :D

Hey AussieNess, Cheers for that.
Not finding (as yet) the same problem you had with the mats. But I hear you on the bonnet headlight protectors, haven't washed it yet as its 48 hours old, but the dealer tried to talk me out of them as apparently his wife did some serious damage to her hand, sliced it open trying to wash/dry them so sounds like we need to be a tad vigilant.
Hey, FYI, already got the piccies up, think the moderator moved them to where I should of posted them to in the first place , under the 'Petrol Pics'
but heres a link to them....

Have inherited a bonnet protector before. Think the benefit of saving a few minor bonnet chips is well and truly offset by the way they harbour crap like leaves and things (plus spoil the lines of the car too...I.M.O.)
After market tinting is cheaper and just as good Ness (should get it for around $300 from a reputable crowd...) Go for it...

Awesome Pics cmonkey, looks just like mine except your scenery is much nicer in your neck of the woods!!!!
(When I'm in a carpark, as I'm walking back to the car....I can't help think....'wow that car is so nice...and it's mine! woohooo!')
As to the bonnet protector....I sliced my hand on a previous car....so have learnt my lesson too!
Dazz, Yeah, definitely want tinting.....is on my wishlist (amongst other household requirements.) Will definitely not go through dealer.
Cheers
