Ok here goes... to all my western frens..
Back in home (Nepal), we perform some kind of a ceremony ( not exactly but can't find the rite word) on a new vehicle. Its not compulsory, but people do it. This is done so that the vehicle has a good life which in turn gives us a good life too :P . But the one above is out of our league. We don't usually sacrifice an animal for that (but we do for other traditional stuff).
Personally don't believe is all that stuff, but my parents did it to my new scooter that they bought me.
I"ll try and find a picture.
Its to do with anything new basically. New house, New cars and other new stuff (can't remember). Maybe when I go back to Nepal in like another 25 days will refresh my memory.
Cheers guy.
