Clearly your fault there Steve, on another theme Germany fought two world wars to dominate Europe and lost both times.   It's taken a woman five years without a blow being thrown....   GO Angela

Mrs Merkel sure has it all stitched up.

So ya see Steve there is no way to win against Germany, just take it on the chin

Glad to hear you had no damage.

The number of times similar has happened to me.

The oncoming drivers JUST assume you will give them right of passage when in fact they have the obstruction and should allow you right of way.

Should there be an accident IT ISN'T THEIR FAULT, is it!!!!!!!  you should have allowed them passage.

You could be done for failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

If I were you I would head to the local cop shop and make a full confession before they track you down and throw the book at you to boost their crime solving statistics.

We don't want you be incarcerated in the interests of forum administration...............

Wherever you are, BMW drivers are the most aggressive, dangerous, arrogant etc.
Just returned from a simple trip on M11/M25 to Hemel Hempstead/Colchester, but as usual BMW's in the right hand lane exceeding the limit by at least 15 mph. They must drive with maximum points on their licences, always push, push, push.
There is just something about those people......

Followed very closely by a majority of Audi drivers. To quote Reverend Clarkson, they're both dicks.

Nearly added that; but it was a senior club members pre-penultimate car :whistler:

Not wishing to speak ill of fine german automotive technology, but to quote my brother in law who sometimes has the misfortune to work on them. He refers to them as BM trouble-yous from the Bavarian Manure Works. Does not like them at all it seems.

Speaking of fine german engineering, how much of an i30 can claim to be german?

Last time i looked at the engine, I think it was the highpressure diesel pump, was a Bosch - made in Malaysia.

Does that count for German..   :snigger:

I believe that the i30 was designed and developed in Germany by a team of mainly German engineers with a sprinkling of Koreans and Brits. Most of the Germans were poached from the VW Group and BMW. The new engine range was developed in Korea - but again there were German and British engineers involved.

Hence the i30 talks German but with a slight Korean 'accent'.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

It's not the car, it's the driver/attitude......
