Latest reports are suggesting that she was attempting to surprise him on Valentine's Day and he thought he had a burglar in the house and he shot and killed his girlfriend.

I was about to post this but though I better check first.. My Daughter Ashley idolised this guy so she is devastated (absolutely terrible thing to happen)  :undecided: :disapp: :blubber:

If the facts are as stated, it is indeed a tragedy.
There is nothing the police can do to him that would be worse than what has already happened.
Poor guy.

The latest on the net is that it wasn't an accident.  The police haven't heard the "intruder" story, and have been called to the house for a "domestic incident".
