Hi folks.
I have a dark blue 2012 cw with grey roof rails. I reckon black rails would look better and match the black trim and door handles etc.
Anyone ever removed the rails and resprayed or powder coated them?
Or maybe just get a pair of black rails from the wreckers from MY10 or earlier models and then hope they fit?

This was talked about when the silver rails first came out but can't recall anyone actually doing it .. The end caps just clip off so would be easy enough but we were talked out of it going with chrome door handle covers instead

The silver rails do stand out a bit.
How about body-coloured rails? :undecided:

Thanks for the replies and references to past posts. Good that the rails come off easily but I think I'll try Dazzler's idea for chrome door handles first.

I definitely like the looks of the black rails better.... :goodjob:
Not sure what Hyundai were thinking when they swapped to grey..... :undecided:
