Title: iPhone 5 compatability
Post by: Webby71 on March 25, 2013, 12:11:30
My1st post on here as I have just bought a new i30.

As you can probably guess from the thread title, I can't get my iPhone 5 to connect to the head unit in my car to play music except via Bluetooth.
I want to connect it via the USB socket so I can see song titles etc along with playlists &album artwork.

I've spoken to Hyundai icare and they don't seem to have a clue. Just wondered if anyone knew how to resolve my problem?

What's it (not) doing?

I've only plugged my phone into USB once to test it out and it worked fine, although I believe you don't get album artwork (at least not in my Elite.) I'm lead to believe this is only available in the active.

Have you tried any other device via USB?
