Title: All Aussie Car Show Pinjarra 14/4/103
Post by: Doggie 1 on April 02, 2013, 11:52:14: I have two of my cars on displays at the All Aussie Car Show at Pinjarra on April 14th so if any W.A. members are able to make it down, I'd love to catch up and say hello. :)
I'm taking my Spanish Olive Leyland P76 and my Chrystal White Leyland P76, so obviously you'll be able to find me with all the Leylands.
Just ask for Dave.

Patrick took my Brock Fairlane and is restoring it to its former glory so loves his cars. :)

Yeah organising to pick some friends up at Serpie,then head throught the back way,come have a gecko, some tucker,may do some stirring,looking forward to it, haven't been to a car show for Yonks.

We had twenty nine P76s there, so happy with the car's outing.

Well put it this way Dave didn't have to second guess when he seen me,I did see dave sitting in his chair when I was looking along the line of P76's I was going to go back once I had a look to the end and ask if it was him, but Dave called out my name first,I'm pretty unmistakable.
As Dave said it was great to put a face to the name and congratulations on the win too,as I said to you today, your Olive green 76 would be one of the nicest I have seen and so original,if it was mine I would be tempted to make it a daily driver.

I was going to come back and have another chat,but one thing let to another,Sue was a little anxious to get back to the car,mind you the way the weather was,by the time I walked around all the cars and stalls,I can tell you I was struggling.

Rusty I'm hoping I haven't put Dave off,I'd love to get an invite to see all his other great cars,it was a great show and would have been a real long day for Dave, his nephew and freinds.

Dave did you go and have a look around, lot of nice cars there, but the one that really floated my boat other than your great green 76 was the red R series valiant with the custom inlet manifold with the 750 holly on it.

Oh and so glad it was the all Aussie motor show :whistler:

I was busy talking to people about the Ps and keeping an eye on the cars.
No problems re other cars Rick, we'll make it happen for sure.
As far as it being the All Aussie Show, it had me a bit baffled too when I saw VWs, Mercedes Benz, Ford Thunderbird, etc driving in. :undecided:

Rusty, I'm not that big, I'm only 6' 2&1/2" and a tad over 230lbs, no need for anyone to be scared of me,I'm just a big softy, mind you having said that,screw with my family or dog's and it could be a little different.

Dave yes I noticed just after we left we went down to the Pinjarra bakery(a freind owns it)to have lunch and I did noticed quite a few of the cars that were at the show also turned up while we were having lunch, bit of bad form I say, as it was by the time we dropped our freinds off and got home it was well after four,woud have been later for you.

Yes and seeing the old Mainline and Customline there brought back some real fond memories for me.
