In the Easter Holidays we went for a few days with the caravan.
Since then, the economy of my CRDi have gone mad.
I used to get about 5,6/100 in the Winter, but for the last 500 km the consumption have been 4,9/100.
This morning I brimmed the car. I had to do a 114 km trip, only main roads with speeds at around 80-85 km/h. Only 2% citydriving.
Back home the trip computer showed:
114 km
73 km/h average speed
4.3 /100 :D
I have never before achieved these kind of figures.
There must be something wrong with the car. Off to the dealer to find out what's wrong.... :snigger: :snigger:
On second thought: Maybe this just shows that the car is able to achieve good economy, but it's the bloke at the accelerator pedal who is at fault...

A few thoughts:
Road conditions
Weather
Weight in caravan/car (excluding occupiers)
Right foot - pressure on pedal
Terrain - eg hills
Standing traffic

Well, I feel so sorry for you Henning. All that hard work you put into getting good economy and you end up with great economy

Were you tailgated by a big semi, maybe you were riding it's bow wave.
