Saw someone already from Sydney, and thought I'd rip-off the topic heading!

I'm getting my black SLX i30 2.0L Petrol this Friday (just 2 sleeps!). Can't wait for it!

Too bad it get's so hot here in Australia. That's where I'll be regretting getting the white!!

Think they've done some surveys and the difference between dark and light cars heat wise isn't as much as you'd think.. but you need to keep a black car clean... :P :razz:

Yeah, I've read that somewhere too actually.

Have to keep it clean, and free from scratches, which will be difficult as I drive 500km plus per week. Stone chips wreaked havoc on my old Getz :(

Welcome Duckman,

Before I settled on the colour of my car at the dealership I was able to compare the interior comfort
of a Black i30 and a White i30 sitting side by side in identical conditions on a stinking hot day.
White was significantly cooler, so despite the fact that I preferred the black colour I bought the white one.

Love to see some pictures of the black beauty, when you get time to post them.

Will definitely get some photos up. I'm an amateur photographer, though my camera cost a small fortune! But I will post some up soon.

I preferred the black, but hey, the price we pay to be cool!!  :lol:
