I've seen this guy, live. In Sydney.
We were at one of those motivational speaker type presentations. Over the years those things tend to blend together but I think it was a big event with people like Lee Iaccocca and Norman Swartzkopf. There were some Aussie speakers as well, including (unfortunately) Alan Jones (not the F1 driver) and a guy who had started a security company who's name escapes me ATM but he was tied up with Jodee Rich (One Tel).
This guy was a pretty good speaker and at one stage he introduced his "Inspirational friend" who regaled us from the table top for 10 or 15 minutes with laugh a minute stuff. like on this video.
Awesome on vid. Even awesomer () in the flesh.

I remember him coming to my school when I has in the senior grades. He spoke to my class about his story. Fantastic guy and a very inspirational life.

:brilliant: Like Dave and others I've seen him before, but still truly fascinating and inspirational :goodjob:
He has a constant source of jokes about himself, doesn't he! I liked the it's freezing, I can't feel my hands!
If he went out for a night on the town would he be even more legless?
I can imagine he has turned quite a few wayward kids around with his perspective :goodjob2: :goodjob:
