We went to a food Fayre in a Dorset village today and whilst my wife was sampling exotic olives, organic this that and the other, relishes and dips etc - I found my way to the real ale section.
There is a brewery in Piddlehinton, Dorchester, Dorset - called of course, the Piddle Brewery. They had a stand in the fayre and I was able to sample their current range of beers. I bought a bottle of each to entertain friends with when I get home
The following photo was taken with my phone- so if the beer names are not clear here they are - left to right.
Little Willy
Silent Slasher
Piddle in a Bottle
Jimmy Riddle
Cocky Hop (Hop is the first three letters of my surname)

Alan, I've sampled one from this brewery when I attended a beer festival a year or two ago.
If I recall the one on show had a name I can't repeat here for obvious reasons
-
Love 'em Alan .. How did they taste?

Other beers brewed by the Dorset Piddle brewery have been
Leg Warmer
Santa's Potty
Pointing Percy
Penguin P
Thunder Box Porter
Yogi Beer
Mid Stream Piddle
There is a similarly named brewery in Worcestershire (But not related) originating from a village called Wyre Piddle
Their beers include :-
Piddle in the Hole
Piddle in the Wind
Piddle in the Dark
Piddle in the Snow
Piddle All Over
Piddle Artist
Piddle in the Cold
Crop Slasher
Flying Piddle
Fools Piddle
Piddled as a Parrot
I sampled all the beers at the fayre - they are all really nice - but my favourite is Silent Slasher which is a blonde lager style beer brewed with hops and 25% wheat. It is quite floral and has a nutty wheat flavour. It has an alcohol content of 5.1%.

All the beers  Hic!
If I did that I would be in Hors Piddle
-
What, no Piddle Head, must be an Aussie term.
-
And what did you do after you'd sampled them all?
Ah, there's another name they could use:
Piddled It Away.
-
I was driving the car so I was restricted to thimble size sampling. I guess I managed to scrounge about a pint altogether because I did taste a lot of beers and cider on various stands.
It's my wife's fault - she shouldn't spend so much time browsing boring stuff we can't afford anyway. What else is a guy to do to pass away the time?..... :whistler:

I agree.
These women have a lot to answer for.
