Title: Inside door handle not working

Hi,
I pulled the drivers door handle to get out of the car and nothing happened. Had to get out the passenger side. Did a quick check. Drivers door outside handle works OK, as does every handle in the car. Central locking no problem. It is as if the electrical connection to the inside handle has "dropped off". It is under warranty so I will take it to the dealer. Just wondered if there is a quick fix to save the hassle?

Same happened on my old crdi.

Told it was a linkage clip which had come off.

Probably easy enough to re-attach it yourself but I'm never keen to take the door linings off..
