Hello,
I have a new i30cw which comes in its basic model without usb connection to the radio.
How can I connect a usb port? where can I buy the parts?
Does anyone have a pic/map of the sound system?
Thanks! :goodjob:

I thought all models had this facility.
I take it it is not in the consol below the heater control or in the cubby hole beneath the arm rest top which flips up between the driver and passenger.

No, in this model usb is not there. I'm completely sure, in the "premium" model (as if usb would be premium addition these days...) the usb/aux connection is below the radio between the 12v
So, how can I add a usb connection?

Welcome gisegus.
This is interesting. Your forum profile doesn't say what country you are in so we are going to have to wait for someone else who has experienced this to suggest something.
I can tell you that since their introduction in Australia, ALL i30s have a USB port fitted. I have been led to believe this is the same in the UK and North America (although I could stand corrected there).
Anyway, it would help if you nominated your country as then anyone else from the same country may have some more advice.

I can see where you are located but will let you divulge that if you are comfortable to do so.
We have had quite a few members join from your region recently, but not sure how active they will be. :undecided:

Welcome to the forum.
As stated, all models in Australia have the USB port.
