-
No Way... It's real paint (from the local $2 shop...) :-[ :D
-
funny mod men!!!
-
I also wanted to that with mine :)
-
not bad
Will it withstand the heat ?
-
Shambles i thought you would have kicked him out into the style department :D looks good Dazz, do you think the paint will come off? i think would be nice with that plastic cover chrome and the red writing, there are chrome companys that just do plastic too. like the plastic i30 grill badge
-
Nice work Dazz, I also had thought about doing that one. Its pretty measly of Hyundai not to have done that in the factory - must have saved them a whole $1.80 per engine cover, but I guess when you add that up over a few hundred thousand cars it makes a difference. Did you use a brush? I had thought about using a piece of rubber like a 'reverse stamp' - doing the silver first, then masking it after its dry and doing the red.

Think so (Doesn't seem to get that hot..)
L-D..
I just used a brush (2 coats) might need a third at some stage.. Used a stanley knife to tidy up a minute spill..

Nice work - wish all my mods could be that cheap!!! :D

me reckon some carbon fibre would look good as a cover..
but red paint is just as good
-
Red goes faster lol, I must try this too then :D
-
Update.. Heat hasn't effected the cheap paint I used. I did 2 coats but intend doing a 3rd one shortly just to tidy it up a bit.
