Title: I30 sr radio problem
Post by: jflavell21 on July 02, 2013, 09:11:07
Hi guys, need some help, today i installed my sub woofer, fusion 10' active tube sub into my 2007 hyundai i30 sr model, i used a line out converter to give me low level inputs (rca's) however i have encountered a problem, i took signal from the rear speakers, both side where red and blue wires, red positive and blue negative?? hopefully thats correct, now at the head unit i just took a guess as to which was left and right as they are both the same, once the sub was all installed it worked somewhat, however after playing around i found that my rcas in the LOC worked better if swapped around and if only one of cables was plugged in.... what the hell have i dont wrong??? does anyone know the reasoning to this???? help would be kindly appreciated, all connections are good to, remote and earth are good and power cable is coming straight from battery. Any help would be kindly appreciated, thanks

I can guess regarding polarity and inadvertent cacellation but I need more clarity before being sure. Can you sketch the connections you've made?
