A mother-to-be is to sue her former workmates because she missed out on a Euromillions jackpot win when she was off work with morning sickness.
Ten staff at a recruitment firm in Kirkby in Merseyside took the £28.8m top prize in Tuesday's draw.
Louisa Whitby, 31, was off that day ill on the day the tickets were bought and did not pay into the syndicate.
Her solicitor said she hoped to make a claim for a cut of the money at the High Court.
ps I'm still in one at my previous work and we have all signed a "contract" detailing payment rules.
If going to be away, planned, when payment is due it is your responsibility to pay in advance to make sure you are in the syndicate.
If unexpected, i.e. sick, then so long as pay on return deemed to be in the synidicate.
As I'm not in daily contact I pay in advance every 4 months..

our work syndicate only goes in the big draws, the staff list goes up a week before and you have until a certain time to get your moeny in,if you don't put in for what ever reason, you don't get a cut,but I have to say,for those who do go in the syndicate on a regualr basis, you are phoned and asked if you want to go in,if yes someone always put in for you and you just hand over ya money when you get back to work, even if it is after the draw and it hasn't won.
