My first post (other than an introduction :))
A humble offering, though probably already posted here, if it is then ok! ok! I'll go away and do some more reading first. :-[
Email exchange with wheel alignment info? Any thoughts?[/i]

Thank you Nick,
My apologies, I should have been more precise; we own an MY09 i30 SX CRDi. Are the settings different from the MY08?
Cheers

Nah M8... Don't try and read anything into my posts I don't play games.. what I say is what I mean.
Guess what I was trying to convey is.. don't sell yourself short (it wasn't a significant post but a worthwhile and new bit of information you were sharing... :P)

IDEA/QUESTION
Why not have a separate thread for technical stuff that way items like this will not get "lost" in all the general banter.
Any thoughts Dave?

It's Strahan on our west coast. I'll email you a full size panorama if I can...(took it when I did a lap of Tassie a month or so ago)
EDIT: Won't let me send you attachment M8 .. can you PM me your email address if you want it..(full size panorama is worth a look)

Hello,
Just confirming with you guys that the rear wheels dont have camber adjustment? Mine seem to have a bit of obvious negative camber (top of the tyres closer to each other than bottom) when you look at them on levelled ground. Dealers alignment machine was broken and he sent me to Bob Jane and they told me that the rear has only toe but no camber adjustment. I am suspicious since I found factorys specs regarding adjustment tolerances and clearly mention some camber angles for rear wheels. What do yous think? George

Hi Coolshrek and welcome to our humble little club .. I can't answer your question but I'm sure one of our more "techie" members will have an answer for you
-
Thank you for welcoming me :), Someone will answer for sure; it may even be me, ‘cause I’m going to the dealer now to confirm one way or the other.

Yep...! Now we know for a fact! No rear camber adjustment for i30! And in the showroom all i30s "walk" the same way.

Don't think anyone has ever mentioned it before... (out of all our thousands of postings)
