Title: Dr. Dazzler's free medicinal advice #1 Arthritis Cream
Post by: Dazzler on August 06, 2013, 23:00:21
At 56 I am lucky enough to not be on any regular prescribed medication  :Knock:

I do however, have to self medicate at times and have half a dozen (or so) tried and tested, relatively safe medications which I would like to recommend..

BTW, I'm not really a Doctor (I gave gave myself an honorary title, because I can)  :winker:

Use my recommended products at your own risk (and expense)  :Cuppa:

The first one is my favourite and I have mentioned it on here before, but believe it is so good it needs sharing again for the benefit of our newer members.

I have more than a dozen family and friends who now swear by it... I only use it for a few days at a time when necessary as it is so effective I forget after that!

There are two "flavours" made by the same Australian company (but don't try and eat the stuff..

Hopefully, they are now available overseas or something similar with Glucosamine and Shark Cartilage extract..

Here is the TV story that first alerted me to the product

OzHealth Arthritis Cream Today Tonight Story 13/08/10 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9X-Gq0oF5w#)

and these are the two versions of the cream (they seem identical in active ingredients and effectiveness)

I will try and remember to post some of my other favourites over the next few days...

My wife used glucosamine for about 7 years.
Now diagnosed with gout.
The only thing in her diet which may have caused this is the glucosamine (made from fish extracts). Fish is apparently a no - no for gout sufferers.

No more glucosamine for her. And no more fish once or twice a week.

No more problem with gout.

Trev, i don't take glucosamine tablets any more either. If your good lady gets arthritic pain in a joint or two occasionally I would still recommend trying one of these creams for a few days at a time. That is all it takes to fix me :happydance:

Dazz

It must also be on a personal basis too,I have tried both these creams, along witha few others,Nada Nothing, espacilly on my back and Neck, both of which I  technically broke in 1976,but I did have very limited success with the arthro aid on my fingers.

I have tried all the remedies all with limited success, best I found was the super Krill oil which again was limited relief, but this does carry a warning that not everyone can use it

I've found that a glass or three of a nice Margaret River red tends to relax the muscles to the extent where all of my aches and pains disappear.  :D

The only downside it it doesn't last, so regular "top-ups" are necessary on a needs basis.

My mate is on daily Meds for gout, he acknowledges shellfish as a no no but not normal fish, is this a dead cert glucosamine issue in both shellfish and swimmy fishes?

Just eating fish does it. Yes. Swimmy fishes, too.

Thanks for the offer, but no thanks, I'll pass.
I'd rather not touch it because I'm not totally sure what it is.  :undecided:
