Hello,
I haven't seen any i30 CW's here yet..whell here's mine.. It's 1.6 CRDI (90hp -> 115hp) about 3 months old now, it's stock..whell not completely stock.. I've "chipped" the car from it's original 90 hp (torque: 235 Nm) to approx 115 hp (torque: 275 Nm). And I must say, that the extra 25 hp and extra 40Nm torque really make a difference..  And..yes why silver color? I just lioved how it looks on CW..
Oh..and this is not my first hyundai.. I've had: Accent 00', Elantra 04', Accent CRDI 07' and now i30 CW CRDI 08'.
So...pics..hope not too much of them:

Hi Accim.. very nice motor (there are many Australian members that would have considered the CW if it was available earlier over here) Not coming out for a month or two yet. :'(
-
Hi Accim,
Very nice car. Do you much extra luggage space over the hatch?
I think the CW will sell very well here when it arrives in March.
-
So Jealous!! And Dazz is right - I'm one of the members that would have got the wagon :D
-
:)
At first I wanted to buy i30 hatch but I decided to go with the wagon. And i'm not dissapointed.. I like the wagon, especially because I really need extra space.. OK it doesn't have as much luggage space as pfff..honda accord wagon, but it's enough for me.. I love the "flat bottom" trunk..you don't have to lift your luggage when you take it out..you just slide it out :) Rear seats go down easily too.. The i30 hatchback looks better, but I like how the CW looks too.. Oh..and one more interesting thing about it.. The wheelbase of CW is 5 cm wider (longer) than hatchbacks. Because of that it still handles great :)
Hmm..The fact that CW's (wagon) are still not being available in Austrl. is interesting.. In our country they've been selling for about a year or so now and I know that some countries got that model even sooner than we did.. But I rearely see CW on our roads to tell you the truth.. Hope you get it soon
Here's how I use it..i take everything out and put all sorts of things in :) Pics are bad, bacause i took them with my old mobile phone..

How 'bout I buy me one first.
-
I love the chrome piece that's under the headlights.
I wonder if you can buy them separately in Australia?
-
accim update! :)
-
130MAN-woman: I would love to give you the chrome. I don't like it that much but all CW's have it. That's one of the reasons I bought silver car - it's less noticable :) But thanks anyway, it doesn't look that bad as it looks on some cars.
Oh..and the update. Today I'll try to take some pictures, here are two pics of the update - alloys 16" and 205/55/16. The stock were 185/65/15 (winter tires). And I'll try to buy those caps today..

It's o/k you are proud of your car.. that is what this forum is about... we like pix... keep em coming
-
Great, thanks
I really love the car (but I'm not obsessed with it :P ) I drove our Hyundai Santa Fe today (2.2 CRDI, y.2007) and despite the fact that it costs much more (I understand it's bigger, has 4wd...) and it is much better than the previous Santa Fe (we had that one also :) ) it just doesn't feel as good as i30 - but it's still a great car. Also drove few minutes later our Volvo V40, and the same filing..
I've always been a Hyundai "fan" but I/we've been buying them because you get a great car for reasonable (low) price (Accents, Getz,..). Now, despite the fact that prices of Hyundais have risen, I like them even more.. The new models (Santa Fe, i30, maybe i20?) are more expensive than similar models were before, but the materials and the built of the car are much better.. -> now the owners of Hyundai vehicles are "normal" people and not just people who are looking for cheap but new car..

Hello! Long time no posts (pics) I was quite busy around the house. Had to lay pavers (not sure if that's the right word) round the house and some other things.. I have some pictures from about month ago and some from today.. Meanwhile we've also sold our previous (http://www.shrani.si/f/2q/gn/3i1FmHdt/picture-013.jpg) Santa Fe and bought new one again :) Oh and yes, I've also bought the dog guard for i30 CW. It looks nice.. I forgot to take more pics of it, but it can be seen on some pics below.

What kind of dog do you have?
-
Yellow Labrador.. He's 6 months but quite big already.. When he grows full size, he'll have just enough room - not too much though, but enough :)
-
Great pics accim!
Any pics of your labrador?

Still didn't manage to take pic of my dog behind.. I took one while driving but it sucks. Well..I've been away for some time. Buying new apartment and slowly (unfortunately) moving out of the house..hope I manage to go as soon as possible :)
Anyways..this "happened" when I was driving home today (sorry for the crappy photo, but you can see the point). The funny thing is that today, it's the 22nd November 2009.. I bought the car on the 25th Nov 2008..so it's almost EXACTLY 1 year old..I thought I'll hit the 50k's exactly on the 25th, but..noway..I drive around too much.
So here's the pic:

You drive to much

Great pics! :)
-
no mag wheels Accim.? nice pics.
-
Thanks for the comments :-[
Hemmi: Yes, with a phone. Just bought it yesterday - and one of the first things I had to try was the quality of the pics..the phone is Nokia E75  And it was snowing a bit and I was afraid of camera getting wet..
SRT Metro: Thanks
2i30s: mag wheels? :-[ Does that mean alloys? If yes, than yap..I put them off for winter and put winter tires - mounted on stock wheels. I've also sold the alloys I had, I'm planing on buying others in spring..(after 15th March when we can mount our summer tires back again).
-
mag wheels/alloys,the same,yes.
-
Great Pictures Accim thanks (very pretty in the snow) :D

Great pics Accim :D :D :D
Good job on the cleaning also :D
-
Great pics like always Accim! :) :) :)
-
All this praise and backslapping going on in this thread
You'll never see me heaping such praise on what are actually some great pics of a fine i30.
Oh, hang on... :P
-
Thank you all :) Damn, these 185/65/15 tires sure do look tiny  But on the other hand, they are great in snow
-
I'm really sorry but I have to post more pics. The pics were taken after cleaning the snow. I almost got stuck on the last hill - on the way home. There was about 20 cm's of snow on the road and the last kilometer to our house was as usually a real pain in the ***. A lot of "climbing" and some sharp curves. That's how it is when you live in the village.. Nobody cleans the roads till morning. The front bumper was pushing the snow forward (http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4071/4316408385_f29d15bcf2_o.jpg) :)
I'm really glad I bought new winter tires this year. They aren't that good in dry/wet conditions, but are the best for snow..

-
All good accim :D
-
ewww snow
-
OK, so at first, I was wondering, whether I should buy only tires 195/65/15 or new rims and tires - 205/55/16. Few days ago, I've driven Kia Soul, that had 225/45/18 tires on, and at that point, I realized, that going 205/55/16 is the least I can do.. I would go with more, but due to crappy roads, it wouldn't be a great idea.
The alloys are Tomason TN3, 16×7.0 ET 50. So they are slightly wider and they maybe stick few mm's out more, than stock ones. The tires are Falken EZ-912 205/55/16V. Got great prices for both.
So, here are two pics for the beginning :) Maybe they don't look that nice when you look at the pic, but to me, when I look at the car (in person) they aren't that bad :)

They look good
-
205/55 16" is a good choice /upgrade.
And the alloys are really good...(*)
How much did you spend for the Tomasons?
(*)...to look great, you have to lower the suspension. Personally, i wouldn't sacrifice comfort for good looks
-
Looking good accim :)
Now you need to update the pic in your sig :P
-
I have the CW same color . 1.6 CRDI 115 hp..
I see that your parking sensors at the back are black. Are these originally black? My car's sensors are gray as car's color. And also i have added 4 parking sensors for the front. :)
-
Huh, thanks for the replies. Yes, here it does look like it needs lowering, but otherwise it isn't that bad. I'll take few pics today of course
babis_xo: Yes, lowering would make it look great, but that isn't an option for me. I had my previous car lowered for few weeks and it was such pain in the *** :) I was so happy to put the stock ones back. Not because of comfort, but because I couldn't go to many places, where I normally go. Coming home was also difficult, because I scratched my chassis every time I went over two bumps. I'll take the pic later, so you'll see it doesn't look to high :) :-[ Oh and the price.. I paid 65€ per wheel = approx 260€ for all 4 and extra 240 for tires.
Shambles: Yes, yes you are right. Believe it or not, I wanted to put these crappy photos already in my signature
akyuznet: Parking sensors were bought as "genuine" ones (from Hyundai accessories price list) and were also installed by my Hyundai dealer/service, but they only have/install the black ones - which aren't really "official Hyundai ones", but are treated like they are. Only few dealers in Slovenia have/install the ones that are the same color as the vehicle, mostly they are black - as mine. I could repaint them, but I'm afraid they would start messing with me then  Hmm, yes I remember now, I got them for free. So I didn't even complain too much :)
Here are few pics, taken in daylight.. The pics aren't good, because the car is dirty anyway, so what's the point

could you tear off the exhaust in the snow if you lower her.?
-
could you tear off the exhaust in the snow if you lower her.?
 Not in snow, although I get some snow in it, if I reverse before making a path for the car. But when you mention tearing off the exh..I got stuck in car wash with Accent when it was lowered  That was funny and "scratchy" when reversing back.
It wouldn't be that much of a problem going 3 cm's down, but I feel sorry for the car if the chassis is getting hit all the time.. :D Though, a guy I know, that lives near me, has totally scratched his front bumper, but he doesn't even care :)
Now that you've commented my thread I remembered.. There are two i30's in "our family" (girlfriend) too now :D It's white, it's 1.4 petrol and it's the "normal" (non CW) version :) I'll try to take some pics today or tomorrow
-
Nice pics there accim....love the snow, but I wouldn't know much about driving in snow... :)

what phone you got as it seems to take some great pics..
Most pics were taken with camera. Few of them were taken with Nokia E75, the quality is..don't know, guess OK for a phone.
Here's another one -> again the "behinds" (http://www.shrani.si/f/3u/6D/2X0OqxYm/230520101381.jpg)

Yellow Labrador.. He's 6 months but quite big already.. When he grows full size, he'll have just enough room - not too much though, but enough :)
Hi accim ,its been awhile since you posted this ,how is the dog in the back ,it there enough room ?
I have a large golden retriver.
-
Hello :)
Yes, still haven't managed to take a pic of my dog in the car.
Well.. If I tell you honestly, there's just enough room now for him. Now, when he's kind of "adult" - 1 year and 4 months (he's around 55-58 cm and 38 kg) - even though he's still not acting like one - he can still sit straight (has just enough room so he doesn't touch the roof - but maybe only 2-3 cm) and he can even stand up and turn around. He has less room in that case, but it still looks ok :) Oh and yes, of course, he can lay down normally. I've seen people driving labs in much smaller cars and of course also in bigger. Don't know how big is your golden retriever, but I think there should be enough space for him too..
-
Thanks mate ,good to know.
I'm sure he will figure it out that if he keeps standing ALL the time he will keep hitting his head ,when I hit some speed bumps :P.
Aslong as he can turn around ok ,was my concern but looks enough room.
-
My dog and I walk here every day. It's kind of combination of meadow and a field. So..I was thinking..if I can take my dog for a walk, why not go with the car also  I took a few pictures of course. It was really hot so I just went out of the car, shot few times and went back in and home (1 km away).

Yeah, more.. :)
Down also with my mom's Volvo V40 1.9D (2003). It's a bit better looking with 195/60/15 summer tires, because these are winter tires in dim. 185/65/15 and they sure look small. We didn't put new summer tires on this year, because we'll wear out the winter ones (they are not good for winter anyway) and because the car is parked in the garage almost all of the time (doesn't drive a lot - 5.000 km/year), which is of course not good for tires. So for that purpose, these are excellent :D Anyway, it doesn't really matter, does it.
Here are """few""" pix.. :)

Nice :D

So.... lol, long time no pics
My previous phone went to hell, so I had to buy new one. One of the first things I've tested was the camera, and I must say I'm quite pleased with the quality, regarding the fact it's just a phone. So here they are..
I30 in winter outfit... The white thing on the front bumper (better view - last pic), is the salt, which is good for ice on the road, but bad for cars and especially paint.

You didn't buy a phone, you bought a excellent camera with a built in phone
But car looks great as always, my car is also in its winter fur but I dont think I have any salt on it since there hasn't been any need for salt yet.
-
Thanks :goodjob:

Don't remember ever closing school people being excused from work (ok, it's not that much of a problem if they are max 2hrs late) because of snow over here :-\
I remember, one morning when I was just a little boy ( ), there was about 60 cm of snow and it was really hard getting to walk in it, but I still had to go ???

the UK is full of people who, when it snows, shit themselves, panic buy, drive at 2mph or go in to hibernation

I'm so glad we don't get snow.

Love the snow just as long you don't have to do the day to day drudgery in it.. :D
Remember when I was living in Holland for a while having to get up an hour earlier just get the car ready to go to work, defrost the locks, remove any snow, scrap the ice from the windscreen and try and get it started.. It was an old '69 Escort, my first car, not really cold friendly..

Very nice pictures what camera phone did you use.

Thanks.
Yeah, I can't wait for 15th March (approx) to change back to "summer outfit". These winter tires (185/65/15) are so tiny, but they are good in snow. They don't look that small on hatchback i30, but on CW, when you look at it from behind, it's like having 2 spare (smaller dimens.) tires on.
turbogo: The pictures were taken with Nokia E72.
-
Thanks.

The Hankook's? I bet they have better grip on snow than on tarmac

Hehe, no I don't have any Hankooks
My winter set (185/65/15) is Sava - Slovenian brand. Good tires in snow, but not that good in wet. My summer set (205/55/16) is Falken. I'm quite happy with them, but could also be better in rain. Though I found them good in rain in the beginning, but they got worn out inside, so maybe that's why they weren't as good..have to check the wheels geometry in spring..
-
That is, you have to check the wheel geometry every time you change back from one set to the other? Better buy a set of 195/65-15
-
That is, you have to check the wheel geometry every time you change back from one set to the other? Better buy a set of 195/65-15
Yeah I know. The geometry is good for 185/65/15, but for 7Jx16 and 205/55/16, it turned out not to be. I never checked the geometry when changing winter/summer tires, on my previous cars, but the same thing (wearing out inside) happened to me on Accent, when going from 185/65/14 to 195/55/15. I'll see. Checking the wheel geometry will cost me 50 EUR and if I do it twice a year, that's 100 EUR. But still cheaper then buying new pairs of tires every year :)
Emm what do you mean with the 195/65/15? That I should buy those for winter or summer? Because for me, they are "too tall" for summer and they bend in curves too much (when driving faster). The 16" also look better than the 15" :-[ For snow, the 185's are better than 195.. :-\ hm

195/65-15 for winter. But i wasn't aware of their grip on snow (haven't seen snow for many years now)... So stick with 185/65, is cheaper too

scratch looks like it will buff off...
rust HRMM...
2 options, remove the light, scratch the paint off, rust kill it and use touch up paint OR
take it back and get it fixed at the panel beaters...
either way its RUST!!! and it should not happen!!! unless you drive on salted roads, then you have to expect it... the whole salt + iron = rust thing... but still shouldnt happen soo soon!!!!

Well, yeah. Where I live, there's a lot of salt on the road. From Nov till March at least.
Wait, I even posted a pic of it some time ago.. Oh yes, here it is:

Couldn't take much more pictures, because I was blocking the gas station. When I saw I've already hit 100k, I just went for the first stop to make the historical picture :D
-
Good one accim.. I got a 50K pix of my CRDi but never got it to the 100... :goodjob2:
-
Hellllo! More more more pictures :whistler: I haven't been taking them for some time now. I even forgot where my camera was. Yesterday I found it, and shot few pictures. Unfortunately I used wrong lens (the cheap ones), but ok, it doesn't really matter that much. Here they are, taken while I was waiting....and waiting..

Got it serviced the other day (100k). Also had them replace my front brake pads (month or two ago I had my rear changed). Now it stops like an animal again (don't know which animal stops really quickly?). They've also refilled my A/C gas, because the A/C wasn't working that well anymore and you could hear the gas. They've put some "dye" so they could check (in two weeks time) if the gas is "leaking" somewhere or it was just me, using too much A/C.
Anyways, the car feels much better again and runs smoother - you can really feel and hear, how the oil change (and of course all other things that were replaced) makes the engine run smoother.. I must say, I still love the car.. Hope it will run without problems for many more km to come.

Mmmm, the temperature gauge has values on it. . . Mine just has lines. (Aust 2010)
-
Nothing wrong with those pictures accim.. and she still looks like new
-
Hehe, Thank you, I try to look after her as much as I can.
BC: Really? Didn't know they were different. Well, mine is 2008 (okay, almost 2009) :) A lot of things changed since then
-
Nice pics accim. I hope my baby looks as good as that in another 70000kms.
-
yep, they're nice piccies.... :goodjob: :goodjob:

:goodjob2:
It is impossible to take a bad picture of an i30

Thank you for the comments.
I have an update about the "rust issue". My dealer has informed me, that they've sent a request to the central Hyundai for approval to fix it (repaint) under warranty.
Should have more info about the issue within 2 weeks :goodjob2:

Seems your recent loyalty to the Hyundai brand is paying dividends ..We had a 2006 Getz , a 2008 i30 and now a 2010 i30 so hopefully we will be looked after if the need arises too... :whistler:
-
But how this rust came up in the first place? I mean, isn't this a painted plastic surface? Can the paint itself, rust?

No it is on metal parts see post #154... :whistler:

I thought that the spoiler on hatch-door was made of plastic :-[
Reckon it should be...

The spoiler like I put on Trish's car is plastic but accim doesn't have one (that is just part of the metal tailgate)
-
Yes, I don't have a spoiler. I even forgot to tell them about the rust at the service, but they spoted it themselves and already went into action.
Dazz: Trust me, we are very loyal to Hyundai and the service. I think we should get some more benefitst, beside -10% on service costs (ok I have it for free, but it comes handy for my father) and free replacement car (unlimited km) while ours is being serviced. Why? Well, in last hmmm..10 or 12 years we (my parents and me) bought there:
1.) Atos 1.0 (I think around '99)
2.) Accent 1.5 (y 2000)
3.) Elantra 1.6 (y 2004)
4.) Santa Fe 2.0 CRDi (y 2004)
5.) Accent 1.5 CRDi (y 2007)
6.) Santa Fe 2.2 CRDi (y 2007)
7.) i30CW 1.6 CRDi (y 2008)
8.) Santa Fe 2.2 CRDi (y 2009)
and 9.) i30 1.4 (y 2010) -> my future father in law
And there are some thoughts about checking the Santa Fe again in 2011 or 2012, I'd also like to check out the possibilites about new i30CW in future. Of course, ix35 or i40CW are the "dream cars", but..that's all they are. Dream cars for now ;)
They were all serviced there, and for example, all three Santa Fe's did 60-70.000 km/year. Ok, the last one does a bit under 50k, but still. So that's quite some cost for servicing. Hm I gotta send them the list to remind them :whistler:
But I was also happy about solving the A/C issue. They filled up the gas on the 26th July and didn't charge me a dime for it so far. They said, we'll wait for a while to be sure I just ran out of gas "regullary" or if it was/is leaking somewhere. If it was just the gas, then I will pay for the fill up. But if they find out it is leaking and I end up without gas in 1-3 months, then it is some bigger issue. Why is that important? As I've said, I have warranty on till the end of November. And if there really is some bigger issue with the A/C, they say, the cost could be (roughly said) around 500 EUR. And if that's the case, they want to test the A/C as much as they can, before my warranty runs out, so they could replace it under warranty. We'll also do a check up in November, to see if some other things are about to go south, so we could replace them under warranty.
And about the rust issue. Pff don't know how/why it happened. Probably because of the salt on the roads in winter.. They've also told me, they had some "issues" with beige paint on i30.. But than again, it's much easier to spot it on silver/white/beige car then black/gray/red.. We'll see.
Huh, what a long post. I should resize my letters to 5pt or something like that :D
-
Must be the salt I reckon accim (can't blame the Euro factory.... I think yours would be Korean built?)
Still shouldn't happen but atleast they are fixing it :whistler:

Yap, mine is still Korean ;)

Okay, got an update about the rust issue. They called me today and said it was approved to be fixed under warranty.. Thought I was kind of expecting it.
I'm booked on 5th Nov. (Monday) in the morning and the car should be finished the other day - 6th Nov. I'll also tell them to try and fix the two parts' where the car was scratched by chips from road - I wrote about it few pages ago I think. There's no rust there yet, but if they put few drops of paint over there I think it would be better.. Though I'm not sure how it would look.. We'll see..
Well, that's that :goodjob:
-
Good news accim :goodjob:

Tomorrow I'm taking the car to have the rust issue fixed. Should be back on Wednesday. I know I should run away from the new vehicles in the "showroom". It will definitely be a struggle  But that's not why I'm posting. I have few pictures of the i30 from the "vacation". Well, nothing special, just went away from work for few days to my gf's parent's "weekend house", which is still being built and is located approx 350 km away.
Her father and his brother have the properties and houses next to another. But the interesting thing was, I took my dog with us for the first time and we really had a lot of fun with him. He handled driving really really well (knock on wood, hoping the next time will be the same). We drove for approx 3 hours and 10 min in both directions. Stopped once to let him stretch his legs, to do his thing and gave him some water. I even went a bit below 200 km/h few times, and he didn't mind that either ;) He was laying down most of the time. He also had a friend down there (their dog Pekingese), which gave him the look and the growl few times  And what I really liked was, that they have a fence (ok 2 fences) all around the property, so it was interesting to see the dogs running on more than 3 acres of land, without worrying of them doing harm to anyone. At home, I can't let him go outside without a leash, because of the animals, that he loves to chase. I also have few older neighbors that are afraid of him, because of his strength, so never in my mind, I would let him run free outside. Enough about that, here are few pictures of the car(s) (mostly used my phone for taking pictures, so i don't have any nice pictures from the trip):

Gald the trip with the dog went well accim :goodjob: and thanks for the photos...

Hmm I've got some interesting update on my i30 or should I say, it was more a surprise
But you know what I just cant believe. How tiny (and lower) the 185/65/15 look, comparing to 205/55/16. You would say that those 2 cm aren't that much, but look.. It looks like I have the small spare tire on (you know the ones that a lot of cars have and with which you can drive max 80 km/h).

This is what caused it:
And this is a proof of great quality:
1. this broken and later on I also "broke" the no. 2. Now it just spins around. Luckily I have 3 of them.
But the "quality" being put aside.. The screws were screwed really tight. Don't know why and who did it like that. Usually I can "unscrew" them quite easily, but this time I had to use much more force.
And let me answer why I was using that "wrench" and not the one that comes with the car. I had to use this one, because the holes where the screws are (and also the screws) on these alloys, are to narrow for the wrench that comes with the car.
Because this happened on a Saturday afternoon, I'll have to wait till Monday to have it fixed, due to the fact, there is no service that is opened for the weekend.
-
That is interesting accim... don't you hate punctures :undecided:
-
What a good advertisement for buying quality tools.... :D
-
I just can't believe it! I'm so p.. off. Today I said to myself.. Why wouldn't I change the wheels myself. I have all the equipment I need. It will take a while, but.. So I did. Or at least I tried.
Some idiot, that was putting the wheels on in the spring, messed things up. The screws are screwed so tight I just couldn't turn them. I managed to replace 1 wheel (the other day) and unscrewed few screws, but I couldn't do at least 5 of them.
Look what I did with my tools.. :D I know the quality isn't the best, but I've had worse tools also -> for example, today I tried unscrewing them with a hammer and with my foot/body weight (I was standing on it and then tried "jumping" -> 80 kg and it didn't move a bit) and the tools were just fine. Then I got really mad, took the wrench and started pulling as much as I could. And it started moving..or so I thought, because the only thing that was "moving" was the wrench, which was bending! (I felt like a superman lol) Look:
(this was once straight)

Today I'm taking the car to the "tire-service" (tire dealer which has all the equipment for changing tires) and I hope he'll be able to change them normally. I really don't know why they were screwed so hard. Someone sure screwed me with that
-
Well, I haven't had any problems with nuts so far as I change the wheels myself seasonally with a torque wrench bought in Sweden (I set 100Nm), but I have the problems with removing some wheels from the car as they seem to be clued, even though I use to spray a copper grease on the surfaces before installing season wheels.
-
Look!
Up in the sky...
It's a bird...
Its a plane...
no...
it's SUPER-ACCIM!!!!

Haha
Went to the service and they tried also "by hand" for fun and it didn't go. Then with the pneumatic "little" thing and no problem   So now, it's on stock wheels. It looks a bit funny? :whistler:
I have to buy myself that torque wrench meehalych too :goodjob2:

Or a rattle gun & air compressor.... :p

Haha probably the best thing :D
Anyways, the car is now ready for the trade.. Yesterday I've received a call from my dealers that the new i30 should be ready tomorrow at 9am. I was really excited. Of course, I said I'm coming at 9am, even though my insurance agent can't be there before 10.30 am :D But okay, have to do some other paperwork.
As I've said, I've (the service) changed the tires and the rims with the "stock" ones. The 16" alloys will be fitted on new i30, but I will see whether I'll do it now or next year (in spring). I've also cleaned the interior of the car yesterday, took the dog guard out.. I would have done the exterior too, but it was raining. Today I'll take few last photos of it (I hope tomorrow I'll be posting pictures of the new one already). I must say it really is a great and reliable car, if I wasn't buying a new i30CW I would be really sad to see the car go, because I got "attached" to it. I'm sure that whoever buys it next, will be happy with it. It still looks, smells and feels almost like new.
-
Because i30's have character they are easy to get attached to .. as you say it will be easier for you going into another one though... (I'm excited too .. can't wait for photos of the new one) :happydance:
-
So here are the pics of cleaned interior. It was in good shape, so it didn't take that much time. I spent most of the time on rear boot, as my dog rides there every once in a while. It is so hard to get all that hair out (although he has great short coat ("hair") which doesn't fall off that easily)

So that was it :) The old i30 is now at the dealers and I finally picked up the new i30 today :)
I took only few photos, which I will post right away in the new topic. But let me describe the car with this -> :happydance:

Thank you! :) Hvala (would be our reply to your "Čestitamo" in Slovenian language). My uncle used to learn russian, when he was in primary school (long long time ago). But, I'll check the google transl. also tomorrow. Now I'm just too sleepy ;)
