certainly look like the right type, but if their larger than 35w I wouldn't be using them in the fog lights, firstly you will be blinding the poor buggers coming towards you and secondly they will blind you in a fog with back glare, but again they do look like the correct ones

Do NOT use those bulbs in fog lights.

Fog lights, by design are only ever low wattage lights. This is because they are not meant to penetrate hundreds of feet into the distance. If they do, you will have an exceptional view of the fog, that's all. The concept of fog lighting is to put the light as low to the road as possible and light up the immediate area in front of the car for a short distance only.

If you absolutely must change your bulbs, buy only LED replacements, but make sure they fit through the housing, some are too large.

Contrary to popular belief, yellow light is better than white light for fog penetration<

Isn't it the other way around, Phil?  :undecided:

I did some research some time back and found the opposite, Phil....white light is actually better....  :undecided:

I'll see if I can dig up the article....

Beat me to it. Colour selection is a moot point when the wavelengths compared to droplet size are inconsequential. Best to have full spectrum for less power waste. :goodjob:

Come to my free lecture and I'll explain the relationship between wavelength and antenna / reflector size. :happydance:
