Title: Positive Feedback on the i30
Post by: Dazzler on September 14, 2013, 11:02:55
I had to borrow my Wife Trish's MY11 2.0 Petrol i30 CW to collect a cupboard we bought from Penguin (about 30 kms from our place)

When I turned up to collect it the guy called John that I bought the cupboard from said to his mates .. This guy knows his cars .. Look what he is driving  :happydance:

Apparently he and his wife swapped their beloved i30 for a Tuscon as they need to cart furniture and stuff. They really miss the i30,he reckons they are a brilliant car.

I must admit I like the more direct steering feel in the CW over my fairly vague Hybrid steering.. The cruise in Trish's 2.0 Petrol Manual held speed quite well too up and down medium slopes (only a couple of Kph each way)

The 2.0 has adequate performance and I didn't even notice the road noise being as bad as I remember .. (I don't drive or ride in the CW very often.) :D

I know out of the two cars which one I'd pick and it's brand wouldn't start with a T  :snigger:

I think you are going to fit in quite well around here!

There is a large Market at a town called Penguin every Sunday, the cupboard wouldn't fit in my Hybrid so I had to go back during the week and collect it with the CW from the stall owner called John.. (but I am guessing from the fact you know Bells Parade, you probably know Penguin as well)  :whistler:

Mind you, my grammar can be arse about face at times...
