Many years ago I somehow got interested in scooters and I placed an advert in a country newspaper's 'wanted to buy' section. Someone from a farm called and I bought a 1952 Lambretta 125 LD. 125 cc two-stroke with shaft drive. It's pretty complete, but a non-runner. Recently I was thinking of selling it but I resisted. Perhaps I will get it going one day. The cheap option would be to leave the panels as they are but get the mechanics fixed properly. It seems to require a few special tools for mechanical work.

I'll see what I can do, but I am a techno-peasant so I will not make any promises on pics.

I'll see what I can do ...
Well, you ARE in the "pictures & videos" section, so pics or your thread gets hossed :P

Mine is the same model as the one shown in the b/w picture at top/left in Rusty's link. Two round port holes in the motor side panels, no 'glove box' behind the leg shields. No speedo.

Lambrettas? The Mods are back in town, the Rockers never left.

Reading this thread reminds me of that great film and its sound track
