Post by: elvisdk on November 22, 2013, 16:08:30
Hey all

Recently installed a double din fascia in my i30.
CT23HY19L HYUNDAI I30 2008 ONWARDS DOUBLE DIN BLACK FASCIA FACIA ADAPTOR PANEL | (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CT23HY19L-HYUNDAI-I30-2008-ONWARDS-DOUBLE-DIN-BLACK-FASCIA-FACIA-ADAPTOR-PANEL-/380706952247?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item58a3e71437)

A bracket was supplied with it, please see attached Picture.

Anyone know what it's for ? Aligning the stereo ?

best regards

Hey there!

I assume it would be for mounting the new stereo to the car frame.

When i ordered my fascia, i didnt receive one, so i used the factory one, now my stereo sticks out about a centimeter or so.

May have to do something with the climate control. I don't have that, my double din version arrived without a bracket like that.
