Title: 2008 Hyundai i30 slx CRDi - touch up paint - 9F STONE BLACK
Post by: 2008 Hyundai i30 SLX on November 27, 2013, 06:30:56
My rear spoiler has faded the clear and the black paint.
I thought I could just do a clear, but found the black has faded as well.

So I need to touch up this small area (about 20mm x 1300mm).
I will need it in a spray can, as no access to compressor or spray gun.

Were in Western Australia can I buy - 9F STONE BLACK - in a can?

I remember searching for a 9F spray mix a few years ago and having no luck.

The "mica" element of 9F means it includes aluminium flakes which I guess don't travel too well in a can.

When ChipsAway sorted out damage on my drivers door they mixed a batch of stone mica 9F at their warehouse (I asked them) a few hours prior to visiting me.

Best of luck.

I know Malz in Cannington had a guy who would make up touch up cans, also any decent panel beater should be able to do it as well, third option is go into the service department John Hughes,Welshpool road they get it made up as well
