It would appear I'm locked out. Master key nor remote work. Car has no response at all. Only keyhole is drivers side, so can't get into bonnet to check battery.
*ARSE* :head_butt:
-
Can't you open the drivers door with the key in the door lock cylinder...
Then you can open the bonnet...
-
It would appear not... Turn key in either direction, nothing happens.
-
That's strange. I was sure when using the key in the door, then it would be mechnical operated, not electrical.
-
I suspect the interior lock-all-doors button on the door handle may also have been left depressed...
-
I'm in! Apparently it takes a few attempts with the manual key *shrug*
So, guess which dumbass left an interior light on!? :happydance:
Battery now on charge!

Good to hear, Marci.. :goodjob2:
Who said patience don't pay off... :happydance:

I think the many attempts is because you never operate that doorlock. Many people forget to use it now and then when they have the remote... give it some grease and operate it now and then.
Not long time ago another member did the same thing with the interior light. He wanted to find out how to make the interior light go off when locking the car.. :snigger:

Just got shock of my life when, as I hooked up the charger, the alarm started going off resulting in a comedy standup-crack-head-on-bonnet-get-eaten-by-bonnet moment whilst attempting to catch the remote which I'd also happened to drop in the engine bay in the process...
:D

Why isn't there someone with a camera when you need it... :whistler:
-

Was there much "swearing and knashing of teeth"?
Or was it more laughter, wishing that somebody had a camera on the whole thing?
-

How long was it on?
Seems a bit much if just int light so best check the boot catch is working correctly.
-
A very Fawlty Towers moment. Did you attack the car with a branch and swear at it.
-
I know you shouldn't laugh at others' misfortunes.
But that's the best chuckle I've had all week. ;)

That's sad. :disapp:
I hope you were able to cheer it up again. :)

Why do you think he performed his little "set off the alarm and bang your head on the bonnet" pantomine?
