I live in an estate that's only 3 years old.
The developer, villaworld, cut costs and had no cable installed whatsoever. I live right next to the Logan motorway pretty much in the heart of Logan, my foxtel is a dish, and the only fixed internet available to us is ADSL1. This was so slow and expensive that we use a mobile broadband stick, which is still slow and expensive.
We were really looking forward to the NBN rollout, but it all looks like it's turned to shit and we're the losers in all of it :(
