Title: Australian Story - Anna Meares

On the ABC last night the tale of Anna Meares. Aside from her rise to prominence within the sport, an astounding story of coming back from a fracturing her neck in a fall to not only making the Beijing Olympic selection but winning a medal. Only seven months passed between the two events. That folks is true grit.

Within this tale, reference to her equally talented sister who never rose to the same heights through injury or circumstance. Tragic really.

Anyway, well worth seeing if you are so inclined.
