Not sure if we have any Kiwis on here, but this afternoon, Wellington Region of NZ copped a 6.3 quake and a swarm of aftershocks, many of them over 4 on the Richter Scale. Reading reports, a bit of damage. Epicentre was 115km from Wellington.
The jolts were felt over most of NZ.
Stay Safe over there guys, I know what you are going through, been through one NZ myself only last year, plus a couple of big ones in Lima, Peru in 2002 and 2007, when I was visiting my son who was living/working over there. They are bloody scary.
Hope our Kiwi friends have a quiet night. :goodjob2:

Apparently not! That was over 7 and the epicentre was closer to (or in) the city.
Last I heard with this one no loss of life and much less damage.
