Dealership have ordered a replacement cable - & according to them, a known fault. Luckily it happened in my drive :(
Despite previous warranty work, (glue bonding), shock absorber cover clonking noise has returned :(
Still a great car though, now with the new Parrot Minikit+ :D

Splendid :)
Hopefully, your Parrot issue will get resolved too (yes, I saw your issue reported on their forum) :)

Thanks & thanks also for your reply on the Parrot Forum :happydance:
Now sorted it myself.
I'll be surprised to get a fix from them - more of a problem with my 'phone

Far out Mike.. I'm starting to wonder if your CW was built at 9.05 AM on a Monday or 4.55 PM on a Friday! :Pout:

Dealership have ordered a replacement cable - & according to them, a known fault.
Now replaced under warranty, took about an hour.
Otherwise £300.00, (a door), beyond the 5 year warranty cover
Blown headlamps have never been a problem, but a modification to the relevant wiring loom was carried out irrespective:)

IF, we have our car after warranty and that happens, guess who's going to fix it himself. :whistler:

my old i30 door handle stopped working(cable fault the same) was done under warranty, they had to order the complete cable/handle
assembly too, mega bucks !
I bet I could have fixed it myself for nowt if it was out of warranty.
