What is the best cheapest oil for my i30 diesel?. The dealer said shell helix but just wondered what you guys use and the best place to get it.

If your UK car was built after 2009 it will be fitted with a Diesel particulate filter (DPF) and requires a special grade of synthetic oil class ACEA C2 or C3. Details will be in your owners manual.

Google for Synthetic engine oil ACEA C2 and you will be spoiled for choice

Don't save your money on engine oil. It's important to use good oil.

I use Shell Helix Ultra Extra C3 because mine have the DPF.
