Calling all UK members (plus others who have seasonal clock/time changes)
Did your clock automatically advance 1 hour for BST yesterday?
Mine did. When I looked in the set up on the radio panel there was NO setting to automatically do this.
Is it built into the memory?
-
Mine has manual/auto setting in the setup
SETUP -> RDS -> TIME -> Auto

Found it. Cheers.
And it is on auto so that's why it did it without human intervention.
Logic said to me to look in either Clock or Time.
Who put it under RDS?? :-[
-
It's under there because it is the RDS signal which is read by the system to set the time automatically.
It's the same as a DAB radio, that doesn't even have a button to set the time, it does it when you switch it on.

No time change here, I would go crazy changing all the clocks around me 2 times a year, I hate adjusting clocks

eye is being a bit harsh there methinks, either that or the English members need to move North, we are now up in double figures C, which for the time of year is pretty good.
-
Nowt wrong with the English weather here, despite what some members might say.
Says he, after spending 4 hours dismantling his boiler tonight and rejuvenating the ionization electrode in the central heating boiler unit
So glad I finished my physics course

Had to change mine manually. But now know how to put it on auto. But will have to wait 6 months to see if it works .............. :-[ . And must be getting warmer. Had to use the air con for the first time a few days ago!

It's been mid-teens in Aberdeen today, out in a T-shirt under a blue sky and sun :D
