Title: Digital Tyre Gauge
Post by: rustynutz on April 06, 2014, 08:49:13
Just came home from Aldi and thought I'd share a bargain that is hopefully being repeated in all their stores in Oz...

They have digital tyre gauges for a piddling $4.99.......

I've had one for a few months now (cost me 10 bucks at the time) and it works great. Besides having a digital display, it speaks, telling you what the readout says. This is really a great feature.
To top it all off it comes with its own hard cover case and spare batteries.

An absolute bargain...  :goodjob:  :victory:

Is it a tyre pressure gauge or a tyre tread depth gauge or perhaps a tyre diameter gauge or even a combination of all three......? :head_butt:

Whatever it is I want one. I will await with bated breath their arrival in the UK Aldi stores

How about an Ozzie Osbourne version.

I have downloaded one to my Garmin which I only use to surprise friends. It's hilariously filthy.

For example - when you go off track the Nuvi will normally say "calculating new route". But Ozzie says "Sharon - we're f'king lost"

Hope they're a bit more accurate than the one I bought a while ago.mind you I have not had that much luck with tyre gauges, only ever had one that was spot on and cost me well over 4.99,but I do like the digital ones, now all we need is an Aldi's over here.  :goodjob2:
