I am so excited. The dealer has sent me pics of the car, they have finished doing the window tinting and putting the spoiler on. Now I just have to wait for a truck to be coming from Adelaide to Alice. Here are the pics he took for me.

Looks just like mine except for the spoiler - nice colour choice! I like the rather stark white but my wife's pet name for the car is "Tippex". Those whom remember type-writers of the non-correcting sort will understand.

Post by: helent on April 06, 2009, 09:25:28: It is gorgeous isn't it. I do like the white, providing you get a nice window tint, and the spoiler really helps. I will be musing over getting some black rims (although I did see on the Korean pics threads that someone had taken the SLX rims and painted them a mix of black and white, I think they looked great) and black headlights, and maybe a bodykit........ but I'm dreaming now. I had a white corolla sedan before in white with a nice window tint and spoiler and it was gorgeous too. I have ordered my personal plates (black and white of course). Can't wait! I even bought myself a new MP3 player to use in it as my old one was a stupid Sony one with copyright protection issues, which you can only play with their software.... I didn't actually realise a thumb drive or SD etc would have done just as well.

Post by: accim on April 06, 2009, 21:40:33: Yap..the color is beautiful! The tint looks nice! I like that the front windows are tinted too - in our country the regulations don't allow it etc.. also nice! The spoiler is great and can't wait to see more pictures.. :wink:

Post by: helent on April 07, 2009, 06:42:08: Another photo the dealer took for me today, the car on a truck to go to the Toll depot. Unfortunately I may have to wait about another 2 weeks to get it, as they have to wait for enough vehicles to be coming up the Stuart Highway in one go.

The tint I asked for was 35% down both sides (front and rear) and 20% in the hatch window at the back. I think it looks darker because of the miserable Adelaide weather :)
