1 minute ago I saw (for the first time) the International Space Station cruise across a cloudless sky over Solihull.
On previous occasions when it passed our way the sky has been cloudy.
-
I've watched for it a few times, but alas never seen it yet for the same reasons :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:
-
I just wish my eyes were as good as yours :undecided:
-
I subscribe to an email service which lets me know when the ISS will be visible in my area. It tells you the time, direction and duration.
-
Its just a dot of light no bigger than the background stars. It's only its steady passage across the sky that gives it away. I didn't time it but guess that we watched it for about one minute.
-
saw it on my way for a pint.
And before you ask.
Yes before i had a drink!
-
Should have gone drinking sooner, then you'd have seen two of 'em.
-

My eyes would never see it
You would be surprised. My wife is as blind as a blind thing, and she saw it easily. Saying that, we do live in an area free of much light pollution.
-

And "my" problem with that is? She also asked who I intended satisfying with it, I said "Me".
